Support Footlight
Footlight Theater is an 80 seat local community theater in the heart of Michigan City, Indiana. Our 100% volunteer organization brings quality live entertainment to Laporte County Indiana. The Footlight membership presents 5 Broadway style and quality shows each year. Each show run is between 7 and 9 days. Michigan City has a long history of supporting the arts. We entertain people from all over Northwest Indiana, Southwest Michigan, and the Chicago land area. Some of our initiatives include a Summer Youth Program, the Robert W. Komendera Fine Arts Scholarship, Open Mic at Footlight, and other community outreach programs. Footlight has been a staple in the community since we opened our doors over 70 years ago.
